French Driving Licence.
From 19 january 2033, the current pink, three-part French driving licence will no longer be valid.
It will have to be replaced by a new model "bank card" format.
The new licence will be valid for 15 years for categories A, B, and 5 years for categories C, D, E, and will have to be renewed regularly.
This periodic renewal is an administrative procedure, with no medical or driving test.
It will enable you to update your postal address and passport photograp.
You will need to make the request on the ANTS website. The process is free, except for the cost of the passport photo.
